I’m a professor at the University of Minnesota with a garden and too many cucumbers. So I developed a different sweet pickle recipe: sweet bell peppers, onions, real sugar, and Gedney’s Apple Cider Vinegar.
My Sweet Garden Crunchers are crispy and deliciously sweet – NOT tart like Bread & Butter pickles.
People love them! Some say they eat a whole jar at once! Even my Japanese mother likes them. So I entered the State Fair and won more than a Blue Ribbon – I was the first Gedney State Fair Pickle GUY. Amazing!
